Our Mission
We built Lineup because we believe that independent music collectives, DJs, and event organizers deserve beautiful websites that are easy to manage. Our mission is to empower the underground music scene with professional digital tools that were previously only available to large companies and mainstream artists.
How It Started
Lineup was born from real-world experience in Berlin's vibrant music scene. In late 2023, I founded Floppy Disco, a music collective that quickly gained traction with residencies at venues like the Old CCCP and Beate Uwe. As we grew, we needed a professional online presence.
Our first website was built with Wix, costing $17 monthly. As a developer myself, I realized I could create something better tailored to our specific needs. The solution I built wasn't just more cost-effective—it was actually better for showcasing our events, artists, and music.
When Shakthi, another organizer at Floppy Disco who also runs the Mindscape collective, asked to use the same backend, the potential became clear. Many collectives in Berlin face the same challenge: existing website builders are either too complex or too limiting for music organizers. And thus, Lineup was born.

Meet the Founder
Carmine Paolino
Founder & Developer
I started programming at age 5 and have since built a career spanning data science, AI, and web development. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Bologna and a Master's in AI from the Free University of Amsterdam.
Beyond Lineup, I've founded Freshflow (helping grocery retailers minimize food waste) and built several other products including Chat With Work, RubyLLM, Cluster Headache Tracker, and FlareHub.
But I'm not just a developer—I'm also a DJ and producer (as Crimson Lake) with Floppy Disco, performing regularly at venues across Berlin. This dual perspective as both a developer and music organizer is what makes Lineup truly special.
Our Community
Lineup is proud to support a growing community of music collectives and organizers. Our early adopters include Floppy Disco and Mindscape in Berlin, featuring talented DJs such as Delfonic, Arpy Brown from Toy Tonics, Resoul, Gabs Leyton, DJ Kodah, Nonduality, Jean Frais, and more.
